quite a few friends inquire with me on North Sea brent crude.
What North Sea brent crude is, is a type of oil that is sourced from the North Sea. This type of oil is used as a benchmark to price European, African and middle Eastern oil that is exported to the West.
North Sea brent crude was discovered in the early 1960s. It is now sourced primarily by the United Kingdom, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands and Germany. Brent crude oil is not as light or as sweet as its counterpart, West Texas Intermediate oil.
